NEW IGM SITE PUBLISHED 10 FEBRUARY 2009

The USC Institute for Genetic Medicine (IGM) houses a group of scientists and engineers from multiple academic departments with a common interest in the use of genetic, molecular, and computational approaches for the study and treatment of human disease.

IGM is also an umbrella program drawing together research across the Keck School of Medicine of USC that make use of these approaches. This research, spread across campus in multiple departments and units, is recognized and fostered in a comprehensive way under the IGM umbrella.

IGM is managed by the Keck School’s Office of Research Advancement. As such, it is positioned to serve a central role in research development at the Keck School.
